Echo(e)s. A visual poem taking place in two places at once in the same space (the cemetery), this puppet form for
dancer and creatures is imagined as a double-entrance proposition, in which two actions are played out simultaneously their completeness and complementarity are only revealed once the spectator has experienced both “sides”. Present in two different places at the same time, a hybrid creature and his double, whose breath of life seems to hold on to fragile threads, respond and re-animate each other, with the help of a danced presence, sometimes visible, sometimes invisible... And amidst these strange dialogues, another breathseems to emerge...
Designed to be performed in a cemetery, Echo(e)s aims to be a beginning in the place where we think it ends, and an
answer right there where we think it ends and an answer where we think there will be none.
